Who else misses the internet before Twitter, Tumblr, and Pinterest? I certainly do! Almost every website nowadays is trying to compare something to something else. One so-called "fact" about a movie or TV Show can now make people go really insane on some sites! So anyways in the early 2000s there were a lot of Power Rangers fan sites, that gave the show good credit and talked about different aspects of the show. Today I would like to tell everyone about one of my favorite PR Fan sites that is unfortunately no longer around! This website was called Ars Armatoria. This whole site was dedicated to Power Ranger couples. The couples on this site included not only Cannon ones but also Fannon ones. It talked about each couple's potential, their moments, and it even gave them ratings between one and ten. Ten represents the really best couples. This website also had an entire page dedicated to one-shot love interests for the Rangers. They even had the complete list of all of Billy's love interests. Billy to this day still holds the record of having the most love interests of any Power Ranger! Congratulations Billy!!! Adam came in second. Now as you are already aware I have Aspergers Syndrome. This condition gives me very advanced thinking. So I did not need a website to point out pairs that I could cleary see with my own eyes.
However there are some pairs that I would've never thought about if not for this website. Billy and Aisha, Damon and Maya, Hunter and Tori, and Xander and Madison are just a few examples. This site was very whimsical, even when addressing a low rank pairing it still talked about it nicely for fans of it. I discovered this one day while doing a Power Rangers search and then started visiting it almost everyday. They talked about romance in a way that actually felt romantic. A lot of the couple pictures I use on this site are from Ars Armatoria. I saved every great PR picture I could find on any site in those days. Ars Armatoria had a whole section dedicated to Villain pairs. This area of the site was known as Heart of a Villain! They got me more invested in Rita and Zedd. Also Mondo and Machina had their own page! The site got new content motivating me to visit it often. The site disappeared in the middle of 2008! When I found it was gone, I was genuinely saddened! 😭 💔 (I can do this now with my new computer)😱 How dare this site be removed from online!!! Please excuse my little emoji rant! (I just wanted to try that out.) This site was so much fun to go visit and it did a wonderful job talking up another aspect of this show besides battles, monsters, robots, and colorful costumes. Every time I visited Ars Armatoria I was really happy! Thank you Ars Armatoria!!! I hope one day my web site can be as popular and unique as this was!!!
