Bold Gamer Geek, and Blue Ranger!

Now I would like to add an entry on the third member of Tommy's junior team from Dino Thunder. Introducing Ethan James. Ethan acquires the Blue gem. Ethan's gem creates scale-like armor that flashes over his skin and protects him in battle. Ethan is another genius Power Ranger. He is well-versed in computers, and plays many video games. His favorite games are Super Ninja Space Wars and WizardWood. Ethan controls the Tricera Zord and earns a few others through out the season. Zords like the ankylozord, and Parasaur Zords. Some fans consider Ethan almost a fusion of Zack and Billy. I think this fits pretty well. Like Billy he has a terrifically sharp mind and like Zack, he is quite charismatic and unpredictable. Ethan introduces his friends to Hayley's Cyberspace Cafe where they often hang out. Ethan develops an early friendship with Trent while working on a couple school projects. He feels suckered after learning that Trent is the Evil White Ranger. Ethan also had a run-in with a bully in one episode. Derrick insisted that the two of them have an after school fight. Ethan saw Derrick struggling with playing Soccer. After the fight was postponed due to both detention and a monster attack Ethan met with Derrick on the soccer field. Ethan proposed that if he could help him with his game, Derrick would stop messing with him. Using a computer simulation Ethan helps Derrick improve his kicks. Derrick admits he was only putting up a tough show because he didn't think Ethan would want to hang out with him. Ethan handled this situation quite well.

Late into the season Ethan signed up on a match-making website and was actually matched up with Cassidy Cornell. Ethan discovered Cassidy was actually more complex than the others thought. However their picnic date was interrupted bt Tyrannodrones. Cassidy was also upset when Devin told her that spending time with Ethan was making her nice. Ethan was going to break up with her but she beat him to it, saying she wanted to focus on her career, but they agreed to remain friends. In the finale Ethan meets a new girl named Angela while waiting in line for a movie. They are seen at prom together in the end. I like Ethan a lot. He is a bold hero. He thinks of clever plans and he is charismatic and witty. Ethan returns in the SPD team-up episodes, "History" and "Wormhole". Ethan is played by Kevin Duhaney. He is a terrific Blue Ranger and he is always there for his friends.
