Chosen for his Inner Compassion!

He comes off a little stern every now and again but in my opinion Kai Chen is Fantastic! Kai is the Blue Ranger from Lost Galaxy. Kai is so amazing. He can cook, he's clever, he's daring, and he knows Terra Venture like the back of his hand. Kai was created to be the counterpart to Leo, since Leo is so headstrong and rebellious. Untimately though they do occasionally disagree, they work really well together. Kai and Kendrix were good friends from the beginning and care for each other a lot as friends. This pair had a page on Ars Armatoria and I seem to recall a rating of six stars. (For more on Ars Armatoria refer to the article; A Special Internet Source Credit.) Any pair with that high a ranking is one I will definitely give credit to. Kai also had a one-shot love interest in the episode "Blue Crush". Her name was Hannah. Kai's heart nearly broke when he learned about a wedding she was going to attend and he suspected it was hers. Kai and Hannah became friends. However during a Monster power crisis the groom was in trouble and Kai put his life on the line to save him. After seeing Hannah hug the man he saved, Kai's determination spiked and he fought with full ferocity against the Quake Maker Monster. At the end of the story, Kai is relieved to learn from Hannah's letter that the wedding is actually for her sister. Hannah praises him as a hero in the letter. However Hannah did not reappear. Kai ultimately gets along well with everyone. Kai and Damon have had a couple ups and downs but they are also a fantastic tag team. Maya helps Kai become more in tune with nature and he in turn helped her get to know Terra Venture.

Kai is a strong analyzer, and is constantly thinking things through. Commander Stanton taught Kai to trust his inner instincts. These two prove to be the perfect team to lead Terra Venture on it's outer space journey. Kai meets a mystic guardian as they near the "Lost Galaxy." He entrusts Kai as the new keeper of the Galaxy Book. Kai fought hard to save the guardian. However the guardian dies by Deviot's hand. Kai saves everyone from the "Lost Galaxy" by reading a spell from the book backwards. The strength of Kai's heart is amazing. I may give a ton of credit to Leo but I'm also a really big Kai fan! I also strongly admire Kai's Gorilla Zord. Kai's final appearance was in the Lightspeed Rescue and Lost Galaxy team-up. Kai is played by Archie Kao. He is also well known for playing Archie Johnson on CSI. This Season is so fantastic and Kai is a super special part of it! Go Galatic, Kai!
