Legendary Sparkling Space Warrior

He was only in a small handful of episodes during PRIS, but Zhane the Sliver Ranger is a really great character as far as I'm concerned. Zhane is Andros' best friend and a brave warrior. He is whimsical, charming, bold, and always full of surprises. Zhane fought alongside Anrdos years ago on Ko-35 and was wounded in battle. His terrible body condition forced his friend to try to save him by any means possible. Andros Cryogenically froze Zhane's body and stored it aboard the Astro Megaship. Zhane wakes up during the Twentith episode when the Ship's systems are down due to a crash landing. Zhane discovers a glitch with his powers since his morphed energy was used up during the time he was frozen. Several episodes later he asks Alpha 6 to help solve this problem. Andros and Cassie misinterpret their conversion and briefly believe Zhane's life is in danger. The Red and Pink Rangers spread the news and he gets special treatment throughout this episode only to have it taken away after everything is solved. Zhane does have a good heart but sometimes he gets caught up in the fun. Shortly after this Zhane saves Astronema from a monster gone rogue and they briefly got close. However she became infuriated when he showed up late for their "date". She accused him of lying about a monster attack, but later found out from Ecliptor that he was telling the truth.

Zhane leaves the heroes for a while to help the rebels from Ko-35. He returns just in time to help save the Earth from a meteor sent by Dark Specter. Zhane gets his own zord the Mega Winger and gets other weapons including his Sliver Cycle and Lunar Rover. Given the resources I have seen them exchange, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a hand in creating the fake Psycho Sliver Suit as well. Zhane is played by Justin Nimmo. Some monsters say his legend has spread throughout the galaxy. Perhaps this is why the character disappeared frequently to make him seem all the more legendary. Zhane saves the day sometimes but he was also used as bait during the first appearance of the Psycho Rangers. With Zhane expect the unexpected, he certainly is a dramatic sixth Ranger, and that will never change!
