To be fully honest, Kira Ford of Dino Thunder did not make the best first impression on me. Kira comes off kinda forceful, and a little bit stuck on routine in the first few episodes. I also found the way Trent & Kira were set-up as a couple slightly mundane. It seemed to me at this point the girls falling in love with the mysterious New last addition Ranger was getting a bit routine. However Kira's snging, and her creative song lyrics did catch my attention. Kira's personality developed well too and I came to really respect her. However I never got into Trent and Kira as a couple. Anyways it's a loose relationship at best though, they never really locked it down. Kira and Conner are definitely the better couple in my book. Kira's flare for the dramatic makes her a very interesting character. Kira has been a victim once or twice but she overcomes her tough situations quite well. Also when I first saw Kira saw standing on top of her Pterra Zord during "The Missing Bone" episode, I really came to respect her.
Kira's songs include "Freak You Out", "True Love", "Over You", and "Just a Little". All of which are real songs by actresss\singer Emma Lahana. Kira brought light to a team that had to face a lot of darkness and she showed incredible battle spirit. She is also very sarcastic. Kira's Gem power is the abillity to deliver Super Sonic Screams. I believe Kira can handle just about any challenge that is presented to her. I certainly believe she could handle either making a honest man out of former "field player" Conner Mcknight or helping Adam Park finally settle down and embrace both his humble inner self and the warrior he only lets out in battle. Kira is truly a wild Yellow Ranger and I believe she operates quite well under pressure, she just needs to believe in herself more often. With help from her Dino Thunder friends Kira did indeed break out of the shell, she was once trapped in. I believe she was a cool choice for the returning heroes for "Once A Ranger" and she's a great part of the over all legacy, even if I did not get the best impression from her at the beginning!
