Power Rangers and Arrow

Another Superhero TV Show that I really enjoy is Arrow. This series is an adaptation of The Green Arrow Comics distributed by DC. This show is admittedly geared towards a broader and somewhat older audience than Power Rangers. However Just like how characters like Tommy, Jason, Adam, and Billy grew though out their episodes, the Arrow characters grow over time as well. Oliver Queen played by Stephen Amell ultimately learns that fighting to protect Star City is not something he can do by himself. He also learns to try to explore as many solutions as possible to the problems he comes up against. Curtis Holt aka Mr. Terrific joins the team in Season 5 and helps Oliver open up more and provides the team with powerful technology. Curtis Holt is potrayed by the actor Echo Kellum. Imagine my overwhelming delight when late into season 6 Curtis actually makes a reference to the Power Rangers. The Arrow team has been through hell and back but they continue to fight hard against many fierce opponents. I personally take it as a great honor that Curtis takes the time to acknowledge the Power Rangers as a Inspiring team. He also mentions the Captain Planet cartoon which I was also I fan of in the Nineties. I know these shows really are very different but this small connection still makes me very happy!
