RPM Vs. The Fourth Wall

In Season 18 Power Rangers did an Episode entitled "And .... Action". Starring Ziggy the Green Ranger. He steps forward and reveals secrets about how Power Rangers RPM is made into a TV Show. I have seen other TV Shows do this and I have even seen full length behind show documentaries, however this was different from those in a couple ways. All Seven Rangers and Doctor K participated in revealing secrets about the show but they still reffered to themselves by their TV names. Workers were shown but they weren't given much screen time and they never properly introduce themselves. So is doing a behind the scenes story like this good or bad? On the one hand by not revealing too much, I think that helps kids still believe that these characters are true heroes and that their struggle against the forces of evil is really worth it. On the other hand this one episode potentially could have been turned into a full length documentary and wouldn' t that have been wild for kids to see? Ziggy does a terrific job hosting the episode. This is definitely an episode I recommend seeing!
