Terra Venture's Steadfast chief!

Lost Galaxy was such an inspiring season! Of course even the best Power Rangers team (in my opinion) needs help sometimes. The Main human ally of Lost Galaxy is Commander Richard Stanton. He doesn't really qualify as a mentor especially since he never found out who the Rangers actually were. However he guided them as people and helped to defend others during battle. So he is a truly great ally character. Commander Stanton interacted with everyone except Maya since she never held a position on the GSA. Terra Venture had a council as well. I got to see them meet often in a secret board room, only fully qualified personnel were allowed in. Both Mike and Kai held high positions as well. The council consisted of four members. Counciler Reineer was the only woman. Brody was the main talker out of the other three members. The council had a very exact plan and they were determined to reach the new world sooner rather than later. Meanwhile Commander Stanton was the exact opposite. He was on this mission for the adventure and he embraced every challenge he faced. He was briefly mind-controlled during the episode "Blue to the Test" but Kai saved his life and the ship as well. The monster of this episode was known as Icy Angel. She was voiced by Barbara Goodson (Rita Repulsa).

Richard Stanton has a seven year-old daughter whose name is Jodie. She appeared in only three episodes. Kai often had to babysit for her. It's quite possible her mom passed away. Commander Stanton gives an incredible speech during "Journey's End Part 1" He tells the entire crew of the colony that he sees them all as a family. He has also advised Kai to always trust his instincts. He only had one really big slip-up. When he accepted "help" from Captain Mutiny, but considering how dangerous the "Lost Galaxy" seemed you can't entirely blame him for being desperate at the time. Anyways is he an ultimate ally character? Not entirely, but I do have a very strong respect for him! Richard Stanton is played by Tom Whyte, and his daughter Jodie is played by Rosario Gru. It's always a pleasure to talk about my favorite season!
