The Secret of Trini's dream

Seventeen years ago on September 3rd Thuy Trang; the actress who played Trini died in a car accident. This will be the first yearly post in the original Yellow Ranger's honor. One of my favorite early Trini-centered episodes was "For Whom the Bell Trolls". In This story Trini brings a doll her mother passed on to her to school. The doll is changed by Rita into a monster called Mr. Ticklesneezer. The battle with Mr. Ticklesneezer is revealed to actually be a dream in Trini's mind. The episode still gets a pleasant ending as Trini wakes up in her bedroom and sees her doll back on the shelf. This episode opened the doorway for different Power Ranger realties by showing us a fight that was ultimately unresolved. Also Trini's bond with her mother and the special gifts remind me of my bond with my Grandma, and the gifts she gave me. I miss both my grandma and Thuy Trang. Thuy Trang's Trini was incredible in many ways and I look forward to sharing more memories of her with everyone on line.
