The Sinster Lord Zedd

Introduced at the beginning of Season Two, Lord Zedd is definitely one of the most ambitious Evil Leaders and a big favorite of mine. He claims to have conquered many galaxies. His body is sort of a maroon color, he has a metal visor and wields a Z Staff which can turn nearly any object into a monster. He has created monsters from Purses, Cameras, Toy Models, A Saw, A Pachinko Machine and more. He also used the staff to create animal monsters from Fish, Rats, & Lizards. When the Monsters are losing he launches special Growth Bombs that the monsters unscrew to make themselves grow in a fiery blast. Strangely enough Lord Zedd claims he has no heart however Rita's love potion still worked on him and they became the first couple to officially tie the knot on the show. He did a very silly dance at their wedding party. During their marriage they argued quite often and disputed on just how to destroy the Rangers. During the third season episode "Potion Notion" Lord Zedd was given an antidote to Rita's original potion but then revealed he had genuine feelings for her.

After Lord Zedd and Rita left Earth they got a fun subplot in the later episodes of Zeo and were shown operating out of an alien RV. Sometimes they attacked the Rangers but they also helped them a couple times because they also hate the Machine Empire. Lord Zedd is shown as a member of the evil alliance during In Space. He leads the attack against the Vika Galaxy. He is intercepted by Trey The Gold Ranger. Trey is overwhelmed by Zedd and Rita's army. After Zordon's energy wave hits Trey watches as all the monsters are destroyed and Zedd and Rita are changed to humans, resulting in the silly scene of Trey watching them dance. It is unknown what happened with them afterwards. Perhaps Trey took them to his home Planet Triforia where they would be safe from evil influences. Lord Zedd was voiced by Robert Axelrod who I have had the privilege of meeting in person. Ed neil was the in suit\stunt actor. Lord Zedd once battled Tommy one on one but lost. He has come close to victory many times. He has a wicked evil laugh. Lord Zedd is truly a Dark Deity!
