Tommy Oliver Lighting in a bottle

It's tricky to do this just right because the truth is almost every Power Rangers fan loves Tommy Oliver. I've been to a couple convention panels done by JDF and they're packed. Funny thing is, he almost didn't stay with the show originally. He was offered other jobs in the nineties and even played other roles. After the "Green Candle" two-parter some people thought that was it for the first Green Ranger. However he was just too popular to be let go. No matter what season it is Tommy's character remains the same. He's humble, heroic, tough under pressure, Often forgetful, eager to take on a challenge, and he's shown he is just as good a leader as he also is a follower when need be. So like with other favorites of mine it's not the costumes or the weapons (both of which he has more than anyone else) that make him a hero to me.

It's the man underneath it all, A true contender and a really good friend. The kind of person everyone would want to know if they lived in the world of the Power Rangers, which makes it all the more ironic he started out as evil. Green, White, Red, or Black he is simply Spectular Expect more Tommy articles in the future.
