This article is a direct follow-up to an earlier post. Make sure you also read Thoughts on RMJ. Cole Evans is the Red Wild Force ranger. Cole has been one of my favorite characters since I first watched this season. In the first episode They show Cole hanging out with a monkey in a tree. Cole is actually talking with the monkey. Soon after we see the tribespeople who are really responsible for raising Cole. So to get to my big point. Cole certainly did not have a regular childhood but he did get early human contact. The Tribespeople had little knowledge of the outside world. However they clearly taught Cole many basic things. Anyways this is my point. Cole not only becomes an incredible Power Ranger, but he is able to handle himself while in many different situations. Cole is a very strong testament to the belief that heroes come in many forms. Cole's character is deep, he's curious. He has a strong serious side but also a very friendly nature. Cole is energetic. Cole is very determined. He is a complex character in so many ways. His quest to discover the fate of his parents and his own place in the world is one that quickly captures the audience's attention. When Cole learns his parents are in fact dead, he leaves flowers by their graves and says they shouldn't worry about him, for he has found great friends and they are continuing the work his parents started. Cole's zords are The Lion, The Gorilla and The Falcon.

Cole's struggle against Master Org was a truly epic saga, with many exciting twists and turns. Cole was also a big star in the anniversary episode "Forever Red." Cole learns much of our world during his time with the Rangers. When the Earth is saved he visits the graves one last time and this time he leaves flowers by his enemy's grave as well. I personally believe that Cole and Taylor had a very strong connection. They didn't always see eye to eye but they gradually came to depend on each other very well. I remain a strong supporter of this pairing. Again this is a Fannon Pair. Now if you decide to do a Google search on Cole or Red Wild Force Ranger; You will no doubt see articles about the scandal that Ricardo Medina was involved in. I do not wish to get in to a debate. I am here to celebrate my love for these characters. I am here to acknowledge that on days when I wasn't feeling the best the Power Rangers always gave me hope again. Please read the other article Thoughts on RMJ and listen to the message at the end. Cole is first and foremost a character. There are so many fantastic characters in fiction. Many people turn to fiction as an escape and once you find something there that grabs your attention in the same way that I feel about my favorite characters, I advise you to hold on to it and never let it go no matter what. Ricardo Medina will probably never rejoin the franchise but Cole will be well-remembered by fans like me!

Cole seems like a great choice as a hero. But remember, he liked flowers! I do too.
